Trek session 83/2/2024 These options mean you have all the adjustments available in a 29" wheel setup, but that adjustable geo needs to be in the one position for a mullet or 27.5" build. Vali Holl also likes the mullet, and appreciates not buzzing her butt on the tyre like she did on her last team bike! Charlie Harrison is staying on a full 29er, whereas World Champ Reece Wilson has loved the mullet setup, as he admits he has pretty short legs. The Trek pro team are mixing it up with wheel sizes amongst the team. These are included on the frame kits, if that's the way you're going. If you throw a 27.5" wheel in the front as well, then you'll need a specific headset cup for the lower cup, to keep the front end height where it should be. The stock Sessions will be 29" bikes, and to add a 27.5" rear wheel all you need to do is run the bike in the high setting on the MinoLink to maintain the bottom bracket height you need. Yes! But the 2022 Trek Session is also a mullet (29 front, 27.5" rear) or 27.5" wheeled bike. While the Trek Session is built around 200mm of travel front and rear, the high position actually allows a few millimetres of more cush as well! So, it's a 29er? The headtube will also move from 63 degrees to 63.6 degrees when in the high position, and the bottom bracket lifts 8.6mm. The high position will increase the reach and decrease the stack, and it will also make the chainstay shorter. Those options are not lost on the 2022 Trek Session, with a MinoLink at the back of the rocker link. It really helps you get the bike setup for your trails, be they slow and janky rock gardens, or fast and smooth ribbons of singletrack. This will let you have a lower, slacker position or a higher and steeper position. If you've bought a Trek dual-suspension mountain bike you will have enjoyed the benefits of adjustability via the MinoLink. So in the end, the plan to move onto developing a carbon version was shelved. The pro rider feedback was that they preferred the feel of alloy, with how a bike loads and unloads when pushed into corners. They were happy to race it as it was then and there! Charlie Harrison was asking to get on the new Session for a lot of 2020, just wanting the bike one week ahead of a World Cup. But the first feedback from riders on the alloy test mules was overwhelmingly positive. This one is just in aluminium, although the original plan from the engineering team was to pursue a carbon model. So when is the carbon Trek Session coming?

The second might be that there is so much to harvest that he just can’t find enough people to do the work. The first is that he might hire a lot of people to work in the fields but there would not be enough work to keep them busy. If a man owned a farm, there are two problems he might encounter when it came time to harvest. The problem was not that there were not enough people to harvest, but that there were not enough laborers to do the work. People are the harvest-lost souls waiting to be saved and brought into God’s kingdom. Practically speaking, He needed others to go out and preach the gospel. He could not be everywhere at once, nor could He meet every need. In His earthly existence, He was limited by His human body. There was no shortage of people who needed the gospel of the kingdom proclaimed to them. Jesus could have spent every waking hour healing and teaching. Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.’” When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Verses 32–34 - Jesus heals a man unable to speak, but the Pharisees say He heals by demonic power.Īll of these incidents lead to the final section of Matthew chapter 9, verses 35–38: “And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. Verses 27–31 - Jesus heals two blind men. Verses 18–26 - A woman with chronic bleeding is healed, and Jesus raises a young girl back to life. Apparently, Jesus’ followers are too social. Verses 14–17 - The Pharisees criticize Jesus and His disciples for not fasting enough. Verses 9–13 - Jesus calls Matthew, a tax collector, and is chided by the Pharisees for spending time with “sinners.”

Camping near lake harmony pa3/2/2024 Food for humans is higher in calories than a bear's natural diet of foraged fruits, plants, insects, small animals and the remains of dead animals. Like other wildlife, bears that grow accustomed to human food turn into beggars. That is why wildlife officials across North America warn that 'a fed bear is a dead bear.'" "It would be irresponsible not to remove such a bear after we observed the bear repeatedly confronting people to obtain food. "A habituated bear that has lost its natural fear of humans and begins to associate people with providing food is the type of bear we do not want in the resident bear population," a Game Commission official said at the time. The bear, a young male that weighed 75 pounds, left temporarily after it was struck twice with rubber buckshot, but it ultimately returned and the decision was made to put it down. Game wardens approached the bear and attempted to chase it out of the park, to no avail. Concerned citizens had sent in pictures of people hand-feeding the bear at Merli-Sarnoski Park. In Carbondale, Lackawanna County, the Game Commission euthanized another bear in 2011 after it became habituated to people feeding it. Although the details of that attack were unclear, the bear was euthanized as a precaution. That bear left behind DNA that the Game Commission was able to use to find it. The Game Commission did euthanize a bear in Luzerne County earlier this year after two children were injured in an attack at a home in Wright Township, about 30 miles south of Scranton. "Human behavior really is what provoked the attack, and it's a swat rather than a real attack." "From what is shown in the video, there wouldn't really be a reason from our perspective to euthanize the bear," Lay said. Lau said the circumstances don't call for it and they wouldn't have a reliable way to identify the bear without a DNA sample, which they don't have. The bear shown in the video above is not being sought by the Game Commission. They can also teach their cohorts this dangerous behavior," the NPS says. "These animals pose a risk to public safety. Wildlife management officials may attempt to retrain these bears by firing rubber pellets at them when they approach areas with human food, but sometimes the decision is made to euthanize them. They don't want to risk people getting seriously hurt or killed, even if it means taking the bear's life.īears that are conditioned to human food often can't be successfully relocated, since they tend to return to places where they can find it, according to the National Park Service. Wildlife officials are anything but lax about black bears that show too much comfort with humans. "They won’t maul you, or mess with you, as long as you stay out the way. "If you ever stayed/lived in the Poconos, specifically Lake Harmony/Albrightsville/Jim Thorpe area, the bears (black), are like this, but move like big dogs," another person wrote. "People who have never lived in the Poconos don’t realize that black bears are basically neighborhood animals there," one person wrote on X, the platform formerly called Twitter. On social media, some people were unsurprised to see a video of a bear behaving this way in the Poconos. Violations can result in written warnings or fines of up to $200 if a person is convicted. The Game Commission made it illegal to feed bears in 2003. The bear also may have gotten used to finding human food by rummaging through trash or accessing areas where it hasn't been properly stored. The man is not believed to have been seriously injured and he will not face any charges.Īlthough Lau would not say whether the bear in Lake Harmony was fed by anyone at that particular campsite, he said its willingness to saunter into the party suggests that others may have done so in the past. "We spoke to him and expressed the issues with initiating such close contact with a bear," spokesperson Travis Lau said. The Pennsylvania Game Commission said Thursday that officials there had viewed the video and made contact with the man who was clawed. Male black bears can weigh up to 600 pounds and females average about 200 pounds. Normally, black bears prefer to keep away from people and will only attack if they or their cubs are directly threatened. When black bears aren't afraid of people, that often means they have been fed by humans and view them as a source of food instead of a potential threat. In some campgrounds and residential areas surrounded by woods, black bears have become more accustomed to the presence of people and often scavenge for their food. The Poconos are home to a heavy concentration of Pennsylvania's growing black bear population, which the Game Commission estimates is about 20,000.
